SERVICE AGREEMENT: THE GROUND UP

1. BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

We use organic, living amendments (microbes/fungi) to improve soil health.

  • Results: Success depends on weather, soil quality, and your ongoing maintenance. We do not guarantee specific growth rates or total pest/disease elimination.
  • Aesthetics: Some products may have a temporary natural odor or leave a slight residue/discoloration.
  • Safety: Products are applied per industry standards. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available upon request.

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Access & Safety: Keep work areas clear and ensure pets and children stay away during and immediately after service.
  • Hazards: You must disclose or mark all hidden items (sprinklers, invisible fences, septic, etc.). We are not liable for damage to unmarked lines.
  • Maintenance: You agree to follow the watering instructions provided. We are not responsible for plant loss due to improper irrigation.

3. ACCESS & LOGISTICS

  • Entry: You authorize us to enter the property and use exterior water if needed. We are not responsible for delays caused by locked gates or blocked access.
  • Weather: We may reschedule due to rain, frozen ground, or high winds.
  • Changes: If we find unexpected site issues (rocks, compaction), we will propose a Change Order. Verbal approval is binding and will be noted in your file.

4. PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Terms: Late payments incur a 3% monthly fee. Unpaid accounts sent to collections will include all legal and collection costs.
  • Cancellations: Provide 2 days’ notice to avoid a $50 late-cancellation fee.

5. LIABILITY & PHOTO RELEASE

  • Limits: Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific service provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing plant issues or damage caused by pets, wildlife, or weather.
  • Photos: We take photos for quality control.
